Google Fiber Announces: Get Your Business Online Promotion

According to Google Fiber, 44 percent of Kansas businesses do not have a website. That is a little surprising, but the company is ready to solve the problem with its latest service offering. Last week, Google Fiber announced on its blog an invitation to “Get Your Business Online.” The Get Your Business Online promotion invites Kansas City businesses to set up a free website and a personalized domain name in under an hour. Additionally, businesses will receive free Web hosting for one year, a local business listing on Google Maps and free tools, training and resources. We love free, but we want to also encourage businesses to tap into some additional services that could take a company to the next several levels.

Twentyseven Global is excited about the momentum and support Google Fiber is providing to Kansas City and the startup community. The free website opportunity is a great baby step for Kansas City businesses. However, the possibilities for businesses via the Web are endless! We’ve helped clients gain powerful analytic data, such as who is visiting your business, how often and from which locations. Additionally, Twentyseven Global has helped clients enable customer transactions over the Web that used to be only possible over the phone. We’ve also developed three-screen technology, enabling clients to effectively reach their customers via PC, tablet and mobile devices.

Kansas City Businesses interested in taking advantage of Google’s offer can visit Get Your Business Online to get their free website!
