Congratulations to Great Plains SPCA, a Kansas City Metro no kill animal welfare organization, for exceeding its fundraising goals through utilization of Twentyseven Global client RAZ Mobile’s custom mobile giving software. Due to Great Plains SPCA’s independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit status, they do not qualify for any government funding nor are they affiliated with any national organizations. The donations by the generous and caring residents and businesses in the Kansas City area are vital to the sustainability of Great Plains SPCA and allow them to continue to provide lifesaving services to more than 35,000 local pets in need every year.
Many nonprofit organizations rely on yearly fundraising to sustain their efforts. However, many text-to-give and mobile giving platforms are expensive, impossible to integrate into existing communication channels and do not allow for customization. RAZ Mobile’s unique software allows nonprofits engaged in fundraising to quickly create a branded, content-rich, mobile optimized site for more effective supporter communications and increased fundraising opportunities. This custom mobile giving platform is simple and secure for donors to use, provides immediate availability of donor funds and valuable donor insights. RAZ Mobile campaigns not only realize a higher fundraising goal, but due to their shareability and ease of use, are seen by more potential donors. Additionally, Google has recently started giving mobile-optimized websites a higher ranking allowing for even more visibility.
Through utilization of RAZ Mobile’s custom designed mobile software, Great Plains SPCA has been able to have a creative and custom mobile fundraising campaign reaching a wider audience than ever possible before through full social media integration. Links to fundraising can be shared via text messaging, email and found via online search. Studies show that 25 percent of people who go online are mobile-only users and further, 50 percent of donors are deterred when trying to visit and give on a page that is not mobile optimized.
Great Plains SPCA’s fundraising campaign success would not have been possible without the participation of several companies who made the donation matching component of the campaign come to realization. With the help of Twentyseven Global’s digital marketing agency, JSMM, Frank Ancona Honda, the largest Honda dealership in Kansas City (measured by acres) and JSMM client, jumped in and dedicated marketing dollars and resources to get the word out to their customers. Frank Ancona Honda will be featured in the Drive section of The Kansas City Star for their contribution.
The campaign with Great Plains SPCA is being held as part of the ASPCA Mega Match-a-thon Adoption Event. Participating animal shelters include Great Plains SPCA, Kansas City Pet Project and Wayside Waifs. Between Friday, October 23, 2015 and Sunday, October 25, 2015, participating pets can be adopted for just $25. To learn more about the Great Plains SPCA campaign, click here.
