It’s no secret that the Kansas City tech scene is booming. One tech company has been so impressed with how Kansas City does tech, that they have expanded their growing company to the area. LeaseTeam, Inc., a software and business solutions company, was named one of Inc. Magazine’s 5000 fastest-growing companies in 2015. LeaseTeam, Inc. hopes to continue their expansion with a new location and 2,147 square foot office located in Overland Park’s Corporate Woods.
The location will serve as the home office for Executive Vice President Jeff Van Slyke and a team of employees from various business units across the company. LeaseTeam, Inc. has more than 250 clients throughout North America and the U.K., but the company decided to expand locally because of Kansas City’s strong reputation throughout Silicon Prairie as a tech hub. Jason Showman, marketing communications specialist for the Omaha-based LeaseTeam, Inc. said, “The amount of technology talent that is available down there really enabled us to expand our footprint.”
In addition to growth in revenue, the company has also experienced rapid employee growth over a three-year period, with over 40 percent of the company having been hired during this time. Van Slyke said, “As we looked to the future, opening up a Kansas City office allowed us to expand our footprint to access additional talent and resources.”
