Over the past few years, Twentyseven Global has been excited to see the growth of digital health, especially in the Denver community. On May 16, 2016, we had the opportunity to meet with many thought leaders, healthcare executives, entrepreneurs, investors, clinicians and leaders in tech at the 2016 Prime Health Innovation Summit to discuss the future of digital health.

This year’s summit featured executives from Hospital Corporation of America, Aetna, Medical Group Management Association, Kaiser Permanente, American Medical Association and the American Diabetes Association. The speakers led discussions with companies about health innovation and how digital health may be able to reduce costs and improve access to care.

According to Prime Health, Colorado received $145 million in funding for digital health services in 2015, a record level of funding. In addition, the 2018 opening of Catalyst HTI, a collaborative workspace created specifically for companies involved in digital health, will help solidify Denver’s position as a health innovation hub.
