Village Square is a helpful addition to the Kansas City Startup Village. The Center for Entrepreneurial Ecosystem Development (CEED) created the space for entrepreneurs and startups in Kansas City, encouraging collaboration and learning from other businesses using the space.

Twentyseven Global sponsored an impressive keg of beer to get the grand opening of Village Square on the right foot! Local craft brewery Torn Label Brewing Company was enjoyed by everyone at the event.
The Kansas City Startup Village has been around since 2012 to serve the needs of the growing startup community in Kansas City, but were always missing a coworking space for a place to work and network with other startups and entrepreneurs in the area. CEED, whose mantra is to advance the KC economy while strengthening the startup system, saw that missing piece and created Village Square.
Village Square is a 3,000 square foot space with 20 desks for monthly members and space for 16 drop-in visitors. Google Fiber internet and conferencing capabilities are available as well as a kitchen, conference room, printer and fax area and the ability to host an event for up to 70 people.
CEED’s goal is to encourage unique collaboration and connections. In a story from Kansas City Business Journal, already one startup has benefitted from the Village Square coworking space by meeting a potential investor.
